Individual Grants

The Individual Grants Program supports residents of the City of PAE to participate in personal development, leadership or competition opportunities they have been selected, recommended, chosen for or demonstrated a particular talent in.

Timeframes

Applications are processed as they are received. We aim to notify you within four weeks following your submission.  Funds will be available until exhausted.

What Funding options are there?

Applicants can receive a maximum of one grant per 12 month period.

Funding is capped as follows:

  • $200 for intra or interstate opportunities
  • $300 for international opportunities hosted in Australia
  • $400 for international opportunities overseas

Eligibility & Assessment criteria

Only City of PAE residents are eligible to apply for an Individual Grant to assist in the participation of significant activities or opportunities. Please see our guidelines for ineligible applicants.

What are we looking for?

Some examples of eligible activities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Participation in a national or international level sporting competition;
  • Participation in Youth Adventure Day Sails;
  • Participation in a festival, exhibition, competition or conference;
  • Participation in a youth development opportunity

How to apply

We provide an online application tool to help you prepare and submit your application. It's called SmartyGrants and it's available via the Apply Now button below. If you're a new user, you will need to start by registering a new account. Once registered and logged in you will be redirected to the "Before you Begin" page where you can start your application.

Applicants can only apply online when funding rounds are open. Support or access to computers and the internet can be provided if required.
